Hi there again, so as usual i am not happy with my recent work. still lacks a unique style, and Im really running out of patience, creativity, and energy to put into them. no im not giving up but I just need some more guidance perhaps, an apprenticeship maybe. I really want to work on Portraiture as a career someday and I would like to find some grasp in that direction.
but right now im stuck in a loop, just putting things up that i kind of like....ugh, maybe im just hungry, i get grouchy when im hungry.

Just kind of another rant of mine...as usual :/

any feedback on this or what ever you like, is very much appreciated as always

sooo hello everyone, glad to see you again, and thank you for all the views/favs/comments etc I really appreciate it very much.

I have been shooting a bit more than the past few months because ive had a good amount of free time and a wonderful person to tag along with :iconpipinteer4rent:! things have been going well, still having trouble getting a job though gahhahhahhahhha!!!! but im not going to let that get my spirits down no sir. I hope to be shooting a bit more in the future, at various places.

just to keep you informed on where, we've been all around San Francisco, Berkeley, and Albany for the most part but there is a lotta potential for aggressive expansion. If there is any place around the bay area that you know that is good to shoot at let me know and maybe we can all go together!! lol I might post some more of the stuff already taken, who knows...I knows.

ok haha i'm done ranting catch yea all later!

A recurring problem

so, moments ago I just uploaded a new photo, and it is alright, just thought it looked interesting so id thought to share it. but as i looked at my gallery section of my profile, i still notice that i am just putting up random shots that peak my interest. I still have yet to find something to stick to. which is kind of frustrating because my adult life has just started ( I graduated high school a few days ago YAYY!!). I know I still have time, but i am just tired of misc photos being posted. idk just a nagging observation i had.

on a brighter note, i just purchased a Canon 40D and LOVE IT!!! much more pro than my rebel, I hope to make great use of it in the coming months. now my next mission (besides getting a job) is to find a suitable lens to go along with it. Any suggestions? I currently use a sigma 18-200 3.5-6.3 and a canon 50mm f1.8. ive been looking at the Canon 28-105mm 3.5-5.6.

As always, thanks for reading my rantings.

Hey everyone, so a bit of an update, school is almost out so that means ive been hunkering down and pushing towards the finish line, so I havnt really been able to shoot which is kindof a bummer, but we get out soon and that means i will be out soon as well taking more photos. oh and also ive come down with mono as well!! fun stuff right? so just another hurdle in my never ending quest for greatness.

So i was slacking on homework, imagine that!! and thought it'd be interesting to look at my gallery as though i was looking at all the photos for the first time, and as I was looking through all of them it dawned on me how in under 2 years I have progressed as a photographer, in technique, creativity, and vision in my work. All of that with little to no formal training. just a few tips and things here and there. I dont know, it made me smile (not to sound arrogant or anything though). And recently I have been getting alot of attention as well, partly because my mom is always talking about my work to anyone she meets (she is so proud of me lol) and I try to show anyone who is interested as well.

And just recently passing 2,000 page views was awesome too, thank you everyone for the support!!

oh p.s. I am still looking for a kind of theme/direction i want to take with my art....still looking.
